Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed (unreadable) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we store your Google account ID instead of a password.

We store the songbook pages and content blocks you create. That data belongs to you.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it for anything other than running ChordCraft.

We use Resend to send transactional emails — things like password reset links and contact form replies. We don't send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for them.

Songbook content is checked for illegal or harmful material. Text you save may be sent to an AI classifier (Google Gemini) for this purpose. Flagged content is automatically removed and we are notified. This exists solely to keep the platform safe.

We use a single authentication cookie (cc_token) to keep you logged in. We also use localStorage to cache your songbook locally so the app loads fast.

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Their privacy policy applies to the checkout process.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. This permanently removes all your data from our database.
